Weekends With: Brittany Huff in Portland

A weekend filled with coffee, vintage finds, and exploring the best of the Woodstock neighborhood

For Brittany Huff, founder of Keeper Coffee in Portland, weekends are all about embracing creativity, supporting small businesses, and soaking in the neighborhood she loves. From morning coffee rituals to vintage shopping and afternoons in the park, her weekends celebrate thoughtful living and community connection.

Mornings at Keeper Coffee

Brittany’s day starts, naturally, with coffee. As the owner of Keeper Coffee, a welcoming café in Portland’s Woodstock neighborhood, she has turned her love for coffee and pastries into a space that feels like home for locals. Saturday mornings often begin behind the counter, pulling espresso shots and chatting with familiar faces before setting out for the day’s adventures.

A Walk Through Woodstock Neighborhood Park

After a busy morning at the café, a little fresh air is always in order. A quick stop at Woodstock Neighborhood Park offers the perfect reset—breathing in the crisp Pacific Northwest air, stretching her legs, and enjoying a peaceful moment before diving into the rest of the weekend.

Treasure Hunting at Red Fox Vintage

One of Brittany’s favorite spots to explore is Red Fox Vintage, a local gem filled with an ever-changing mix of curated vintage finds. Whether she’s on the hunt for unique glassware, furniture, or the perfect worn-in tee, the thrill of the find is always part of the fun.

Lunch at Double Mountain

All that browsing works up an appetite, and Double Mountain is the perfect place to refuel. Known for their legendary pizzas and house-brewed beer, it’s a favorite neighborhood stop for a laid-back lunch with friends.

Ending on a Sweet Note: Cloud City Ice Cream

No weekend is complete without a little something sweet. A stop at Cloud City Ice Cream is the perfect way to end the day, with a scoop (or two) of one of their locally made, small-batch flavors. It’s the kind of weekend ritual that feels both nostalgic and necessary.

A Weekend Well Spent

For Brittany, weekends are about good coffee, good company, and supporting the small businesses that make Portland’s Woodstock neighborhood so special. Whether she’s behind the bar at Keeper Coffee, discovering a new vintage piece, or grabbing a scoop of ice cream, her weekends are a reminder to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the everyday.
