Company
REVIVAL planters are made from high-fired, vitreous stoneware—dense, durable, and naturally watertight. Each piece is glazed inside and out, with a lighter interior glaze that protects the clay body and supports a smooth, even finish. Our forms are design-forward but engineered for daily use: straightforward sizing, durable glazes, and options that support how you actually care for plants.
We design for longevity first—durable materials, lasting finishes, and sizing that reduces the need to repurchase. Our stands use responsibly sourced wood, and our packaging is chosen to be protective and thoughtful about environmental impact. If you have questions about specific materials or packaging, we’re happy to share more.
Yes. Even with a refined, lighter feel, our planters are made from high-fired, vitreous stoneware—a dense clay body designed to resist everyday wear. They’re glazed inside and out and built for long-term use indoors and outdoors. As with any ceramic, care during handling and placement matters, especially for larger sizes.
Planters
We offer both formats. Cachepots have no drainage hole and are designed to hold a standard nursery grow pot for an easy drop-in setup. Our drainage planters include a drainage hole and a complementary saucer, with engineered airflow channels to support root health and bottom-up watering.
Choose a cachepot (no drainage hole) if you want the simplest drop-in setup indoors. You’ll keep your plant in its nursery grow pot, lift it out to water, let it drain, then return it to the cachepot. Choose a drainage planter + saucer if you prefer traditional planting or want to water directly in the vessel. Our drainage planters include complementary saucers engineered with airflow channels to support root health.
Our planters are sized and named for the standard nursery grow pot they’re designed to fit—often with no repotting required. For example, a planter labeled “10” is designed to accommodate a standard 10" grow pot. We recommend checking your grow pot’s top diameter and reviewing each product page for exact dimensions, since nursery pots can vary slightly by brand.
You’ll find size charts on every product page. They’re the quickest way to confirm fit, especially since nursery grow pot dimensions can vary slightly by brand.
Our smallest planter is the Rancho 4", which is designed to accommodate a 2" nursery grow pot—ideal for tiny plants and tabletop moments. Our largest size is the Cylinder 17" (available as a cachepot or with drainage + saucer). It’s designed to accommodate a 17" grower pot or a 10-gallon grower pot, making it a true large-format option.
Usually, no. Many customers keep plants in their nursery grow pot and place it directly into a REVIVAL planter (especially with cachepots). This keeps sizing simple and makes plant care easier—particularly when you want to water thoroughly and let the grow pot drain.
For many plants, yes. Keeping a plant in its grow pot can support healthier watering habits (full soak + full drain), reduce the risk of overwatering, and make seasonal moves or repotting simpler. It also makes it easy to swap plants in and out of a vessel as your spaces evolve.
Yes. REVIVAL planters are furniture-grade, indoor/outdoor pottery—high-fired stoneware, glazed inside and out, and frost-proof. For freezing conditions, the key is preventing trapped water: avoid leaving standing water in saucers and make sure water can fully drain so it doesn’t freeze, expand, and stress the ceramic over time.
Yes—our drainage planters come with a complementary saucer included. The saucers are designed to pair with each planter and feature engineered airflow channels to support healthier roots between waterings.

Plant Stands
Yes. We make hardwood plant stands designed to pair with compatible cylindrical planters. Choose between a square-leg profile or a rounded-leg joinery profile. Stands assemble tool-free with a secure two-piece construction, flip to adjust height and style, and are sized by the interior diameter they fit.
Yes. Our stands are made from sustainably sourced or reclaimed teak or mahogany, finished with a non-toxic oil. We prioritize materials selected for durability, long-term use, and responsible sourcing.
Care
Routine care is simple: wipe with a damp cloth. For outdoor use, clear soil or mineral buildup as needed and avoid leaving standing water in saucers for extended periods. Because each piece is hand-finished, subtle variation in glaze tone and texture is expected and reflects the making process.
