Hand-Finished in Artisan Factories
Every piece passes through human hands before it leaves the factory — glazed, checked, finished. We've spent eight years building relationships with the same small artisan factories, not shopping around for whoever's cheapest that quarter. That kind of partnership is what lets a finish stay consistent, year over year.
A Glaze, Chosen on Purpose
Every colorway earns its place in the lineup. We'd rather offer a handful of finishes we'd put in our own homes than a dozen that exist just to fill out a swatch chart.
The One Measurement That Actually Matters
Most planters are sized by a pre-formed mold in a factory. Ours are sized by what's actually going inside — the nursery grow pot. It's a small shift in logic that makes a real difference: the right fit, the first time.
Better for the Planet, Not Just the Planter
Even the box is considered. Every order ships in one hundred percent recyclable cardboard — no styrofoam, no plastic void-fill, nothing that outlives the planter inside it. A small piece of the equation, not an afterthought.
Two Ways to Pot a Plant, Never an Afterthought
Some of our planters are cachepots. Others come as a true two-piece with drainage and a matching saucer. Which one depends on the plant, not on what's easiest to manufacture. Too many planters solve drainage with a loose plastic plug and no saucer at all — or a saucer that was clearly never designed to match. We'd rather build the right solution into each piece from the start.

The Artisan Series exists to put a name — and give leverage — to work that usually goes uncredited: the ceramicists who create art and beauty every day. The Rancho was the first to carry that recognition. It won't be the last.
Two People, One Idea
REVIVAL started as a husband-and-wife project. Eight years later, it still is. Every decision, big or small, runs through both of us — which either means we agree on almost everything, or we've gotten very good at compromise.
