Size Guide

Cachepot use: The Cylinder has no drainage hole. Place your plant in a nursery grow pot, water it at the sink, let it drain, then set it inside the Cylinder.

17″ Cylinder dimensions: The "17″ refers to grow pot compatibility, not inner dimensions. Actual inner cavity: ~16″ wide × 17″ tall. The outer diameter is 17″. With 16″ diameter × 17″ height, this size accommodates #10, 7 Gallon Full, #7, and even 10 Gallon Full pots.

Sizing tip: If between sizes, go up. A little extra room around the grow pot makes watering and repositioning much easier.

Drainage included: This version has a drainage hole and a channeled saucer for airflow. You can plant directly or use a grow pot.

Same inner dimensions as the standard Cylinder. The saucer adds to outer height but inner planting space is identical.

4″ Round Two: Yes, it fits a grow pot! A standard 4″ nursery pot (≈ 4″ rim × 3.5″ tall) sits comfortably inside the 4.5″ × 4.25″ interior.

10″ & 3 Gallon Trade: The manufacturer lists the 3 Gallon Trade Pot as compatible. Its 10″ rim matches the planter's 10″ inner diameter — nursery pots taper inward, so the body nests inside even when the rim is close in size.

Drainage system: All Round Two planters include a drainage hole and saucer with airflow channels.

Cachepot: The Bell has no drainage hole. Water your plant in its nursery pot at the sink, drain fully, then place inside.

10″ Bell depth: At 11.25″ inner height, the 10″ Bell is unusually deep — deeper than many planters its width. This allows it to accommodate taller pots like the #5 (10.5″ × 12.25″).

Curved interior: The Bell's rounded shape means the opening diameter is the widest point. Pots with rims close to 10.5″ still fit because they taper inward below the rim.

Shallow planter: The Rancho has a low profile (3–4.5″ inner height). Designed for small grow pots and shallow-rooted plants like succulents, air plants, and small herbs.

Size naming: The Rancho's named size (5″, 6″, etc.) refers to the overall planter footprint, not the grow pot it fits. Always check the inner dimensions above.

8″ Rancho & 6″ grow pot: The manufacturer lists a "6″ grow pot" for the 8″ Rancho. Standard 6″ nursery pots are typically 6″ wide × 5″ tall. The Rancho's inner height is only 4.5″, so the pot will sit slightly above the rim. Use a shorter/squatter 6″ azalea pot for a flush fit.

"Trade Gallon" ≠ actual gallon: A 1 Gallon Trade pot holds only about ¾ of a true U.S. gallon. The term is an industry convention dating back to post-WWII surplus cans.

Numbered pots (#1, #2, etc.): These refer to trade-size classes. #1 ≈ 1 gallon trade, #2 ≈ 2 gallon, etc. "S" suffix means a shorter/wider variant.

"Full" pots: Larger than trade pots of the same gallon number. A 1 Gallon Full Pot (8″ dia) is significantly wider than a 1 Gallon Trade Pot (6.5″ dia).

Dimensions vary: These are industry-standard approximations. Different manufacturers produce slightly different sizes. When in doubt, measure your pot before buying a planter.
